Belfair is a beautiful and charming community located in Mason County, Washington. Serving as the main commercial center, or “hub”, of North Mason County, Belfair is located along the Union River and the headwaters of the Hood Canal, a branch of Puget Sound. Originally, Belfair was known as Clifton, which led to some confusion, as there were several other cities in the state that went by the same name.
